Who can participate?+
HackSurgeX is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. You need a valid college ID. Teams must have 3–4 members.
What is the registration fee?+
₹400 per team. Registration is done via Hack2Skill. Payment details will be shared upon Hack2Skill registration confirmation.
Can teammates be from different colleges?+
Yes! Cross-college teams are absolutely allowed and encouraged. Diversity in teams often leads to the best solutions.
What should we build?+
Choose from 4 tracks: Fintech, Cybersecurity, Open Innovation, or Agentic AI. Projects must be started at the hackathon — no prior code allowed.
Will food and accommodation be provided?+
Yes! All meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, midnight snacks) are provided. The venue is available 24/7 for the duration of the hackathon.
How will projects be judged?+
Projects will be evaluated on: Innovation & Creativity, Technical Complexity, Real-world Impact, Quality of Live Demo, and Scalability.
